Antonio Serrano

Antonio Serrano studied Communication at Universidad Iberoamericana, and theater in Mexico, England, Denmark, France and Italy. He wrote and directed his plays, among them: A destiempo, Doble cara, Café americano and Sexo, pudor y lágrimas. He staged the plays: Moliere, Sexo, drogas y rocanrol and Por amor al arte, among others. His debut as a film director and screenwriter was Sexo, pudor y lágrimas. He directed La hija del caníbal, the segment Vida express, in the film Cero y van cuatro, and Hidalgo: La historia jamás contada. He has received several awards as a director, playwright and screenwriter.
