"Under the Dominion of Evil" is a film that has a building atmosphere and there are moments that can please the soul of a horror viewer, but overall, it's too straightforward and it tries too hard to create a stepping stone for "The Exorcist". Stellan saves it with his acting and personality, but this film still doesn't reach beyond average. It lacks the necessary intensity and strength of characters.

I first saw this story at the theater, where it captivated me, but I searched for the way to its film version for quite a long time. Well, it's finally here. The British have shown their great sense of humor. The setting is captured so well that you might easily believe that this whole idea could have been true. An excellent ensemble, where you probably won't know many people - except for Tom Wilkinson - but that doesn't matter at all because it's just fun. Great even after all these years.

I really enjoyed this one. Excellently stylized animation, plus a B-movie subject, but from a slightly different perspective. Even though it's actually quite cruel, you still can't resist the humor. Simple at first glance, but when the right people, in this case Koreans, take it in hand, the result is fantastic. This is how a great animated short of today can look like.

Robert Wise and others knew, thanks to the war, that the world was heading towards destruction, and this was their response. A great film from which we have not learned anything after sixty years, respectively the situation has not changed much. Klaatu is still waiting for our response, but I don't think he will ever receive it. Could it be that destruction is inevitable? The recent remake cannot be compared to this, as its message has disappeared. B movies can also be made this way.

It's about two movies that are actually one. Each one contains slightly different scenes, but the duration of the different scenes does not exceed 10 minutes. Basically, it's just that one movie focuses more on Reshiram and the other on Zekrom. And that's it. Quite weak, considering that one should go to the cinema twice. Otherwise, it's a standard, sometimes quite boring, but there are some pretty entertaining scenes.

I might get ulcers from Kelly's stuff. That guy is unbelievable. His films have amazing elements. In the case of "The Box", it's the box itself and its concept, sci-fi elements, great retro style. But how does it all come together and how do you try to follow the film, you start feeling similar sensations as with "Apocalypse" or "Donnie Darko" again. There are too many themes, Kelly tries to present his ideas as crucial, but at the same time, he can't avoid cheesiness, which lacks perspective. Kelly simply doesn't work for me, and "The Box" is just another proof of that. Great ideas, but they lack consistency. The twist is good, but unfortunately, you also realize how banal it all actually is.

A movie with an unattractive graphics and animation, which is quite far from perfection, with an incredibly predictable story and information that scouts are actually quite mischievous and it is not easy to fit in with them if you are a little different. What the first movie dealt with is here again and it's really tedious. Animation doesn't suit Stuart well, his uniqueness was precisely in the live-action film.

Standard Pokémon story that, if you don't hate Pokémon directly, can't offend you. The truth is, it's a bit samey and the Pokémon themselves are repeated a lot even within the movies, but there are some occasional novelties. I'm mainly glad that they're just short pieces because a longer time wouldn't suit these scenarios.

"Hei tai yang 731 xu ji zhi sha ren gong chang" is a big disappointment for me and it just shows that some cults are created based on movies that don't deserve it at all. It could have been a time when there weren't so many similar movies, but I don't think so. Maybe the element of an experimental laboratory and those disgusting, but not so explicit experiments that happen here caught my attention. Otherwise, I can't really explain it.

A film with great ideas - a bag with something interesting inside, a mafioso who wants the killer to follow the rules, other characters who are after that bag. This is simply brilliantly executed, plus Cusack has been doing similar ambiguous, rather darker roles lately. Robert De Niro is a bit cliché in this, but he has divine hair. However, as the movie progresses, everything falls apart. The characters stop making sense, they are unnecessary, and the story ends completely mediocre. Another wasted opportunity.
