Those characters are pretty decent, but she is still the same cliché nonsense as any other romantic movie. It's just a formula where the "hero" wants his love interest, no matter what. The one who is with her now has to be a villain for it to work. It's a bit boring, but as I said, the characters are alright.

Exactly that little film that suits the short form, maybe it would suit it even shorter. It's a funny comedy with elements of absurd drama, which personally appeals to me. It doesn't overdo it, it's dosed just right, and there are moments where I may not laugh out loud, but still think to myself that this was really great. It's not excellent, but I enjoyed this.

Beautiful animation, which you would expect from Disney, a quite nice story, which mainly succeeds in creating some basic events for Peter Pan and his story. There are quite good references here. This is actually about the birth of Captain Hook. It is a bit cliché, but surprisingly not as much as you would expect. This film will definitely not offend children, and considering its length, parents can tolerate it as well.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the movie, and it seemed like a typical romance with a bad ending. However, suddenly the movie took a twist and there was an absolutely fantastic sequence that left me in awe. Asians really know how to surprise, and this is one of those cases. It truly took my breath away, although the overall consistency is slightly lacking.

I actually liked the more modern version with Edward Norton and Naomi Watts a little bit more, especially because the ending was stronger. However, that doesn't change the fact that this dramatic romance still works after eighty years, and "The Painted Veil" shouldn't disappoint any film fan.

Ralph Fiennes will be fairly recognized by critics because he directs films that can accurately capture the time and environment and are capable of captivating strong emotions, even though they do not try to be pleasing to the viewer, rather as if they discourage them with their pace and structure. I liked "Coriolanus" a little more, but even this is not a mass-pleasing film. It didn't impress me in any way.

This is really only for hardcore fans and I realize that I have moved on. I should probably refresh this game because the desire to catch and have them all is still somewhere inside me, even though it is basically impossible. Overall, it is above average in terms of richness of mythology and great battles within the series.

"Under the Dominion of Evil" is a film that has a building atmosphere and there are moments that can please the soul of a horror viewer, but overall, it's too straightforward and it tries too hard to create a stepping stone for "The Exorcist". Stellan saves it with his acting and personality, but this film still doesn't reach beyond average. It lacks the necessary intensity and strength of characters.

I first saw this story at the theater, where it captivated me, but I searched for the way to its film version for quite a long time. Well, it's finally here. The British have shown their great sense of humor. The setting is captured so well that you might easily believe that this whole idea could have been true. An excellent ensemble, where you probably won't know many people - except for Tom Wilkinson - but that doesn't matter at all because it's just fun. Great even after all these years.

I really enjoyed this one. Excellently stylized animation, plus a B-movie subject, but from a slightly different perspective. Even though it's actually quite cruel, you still can't resist the humor. Simple at first glance, but when the right people, in this case Koreans, take it in hand, the result is fantastic. This is how a great animated short of today can look like.
