I wouldn’t flush it down the toilet, it had some potential, but director Mikael Håfström has such a bland an unenergetic style that the film never takes off. But the worst is when a film that never managed to catch your interest starts to throw twists somewhere in the middle that are supposed to fool the viewers and make them feel the film is ahead of them. Did it make sense and did all the pieces fall into place (with regards to the motivations of the characters)? Honestly, I don’t know, probably not, but I don’t want to watch it again to make sure.
