The Sacrifice

Marcos is a quiet and withdrawn forest ranger at a national park. His peaceful solitude is invaded by two biologists who come to study the mysterious deaths of a number of birds in the area. As time passes the interactions between the ranger and the scientists grow strained. The desire and envy for normality represented by the couple awaken a darker side of Marcos' personality that comes to the fore. (Warsaw Film Festival)
