New York City architect Natalie works hard to get noticed at her job but is more likely to be asked to deliver coffee and bagels than to design the city’s next skyscraper. And if things weren’t bad enough, Natalie, a lifelong cynic when it comes to love, has an encounter with a mugger that renders her unconscious, waking to discover that her life has suddenly become her worst nightmare - a romantic comedy - and she is the leading lady. suomi Kiva, vaikkei täysin omaperäinen aihe. Elokuva itse menettää imunsa vähitellen ja yksi tähti lähtee vielä lopun sekopäisestä post-synchro-musiikkinumerosta, jollaisia nähdään vastaavissa halvoissa komedioissa. ()

englanti Isn't It Romantic appeals mainly thanks to an original premise that makes fun of romantic clichés of all kinds, which the film manages to do quite well in places, but sometimes it lags a bit. Rebel Wilson was perfect for the lead role of a woman who doesn't believe in clichéd romantic stories. Next to her, I was most impressed with Brandon Scott Jones in the supporting role of Donny, who parodied gay stereotypes. Yet I can't shake the feeling that a little more could have been extracted from the idea. However, as a one-watch comedy, the film suffices amply and offers a decent soundtrack with well-known songs. englanti A pretty originally conceived romantic comedy where the main character ends up in the world of romantic movies and is pursued by Liam Hemsworth, who wouldn't bat an eye at Rebel Wilson in the real world. Wilson's performance is pretty ok and she fills her role as a Hollywood buffoon just fine, a few lines are amusing and overall it's a nice respite that takes its foot off the gas slightly in the last act. Better average. 60%. ()

englanti Somehow I think that this comedy could have opened the gates to the world of American comedies for Rebel Wilson, if only it was funny. It seemed that the authors completely forgotten about humor and offered nothing but soulless scenes. ()
