Javier Ruiz Caldera

Javier Ruiz Caldera directed, in 2009, his first feature film, Spanish Movie, which stayed at number one on the box office list for two weeks. His second work, Promoción fantasma (Ghost Graduation, 2012), received the Best Film Award and Prix du Public at the Brussels Fantasy Film Festival. Next came Tres bodas de más (Three Many Weddings, 2013), winner of seven Goya award nominations, and his first foray into the world of comics, Anacleto agente secreto (Spy Time, 2015), winner of the Goya for Best Special Effects, an accolade garnered once again by Superlópez.
