Annemarie Jacir

This Palestinian filmmaker moved to USA from Saudi Arabia when she was 16 years old. Prior to entering the Masters Film Program at Columbia University in New York, she worked at a literary agency in Los Angeles. Her first short film, Like twenty impossibles (2003) premiered at Cannes and has won various awards in several festivals. She lives in Ramallah, Palestine.
