Aleksey Igudesman

Aleksey Igudesman (Petersburg) gained a name primarily as a violinist and conductor, but also as an occasional actor and filmmaker. At age twelve he was accepted to the Yehudi Menuhin School and later he studied at the Vienna Conservatory. He has recorded with the foremost classical music ensembles, and has also worked with actor Roger Moore and with film music composer Hans Zimmer on the soundtrack for Sherlock Holmes, among others.
