Archie Baron runs London-based factual indie Wingspan Productions founded in 2008. He previously co-ran Takeaway Media after a decade as in-house director and series producer at the BBC. As director and executive producer he has won multiple British and international awards and nominations for films as varied as Alexander Solzhenitsyn - The Homecoming, Motherland – A Genetic Journey, Joanna Lumley in the Land of the Northern Lights, The Joy of Logic and Our Gay Wedding – The Musical. He conceived and exec’ed Computer Says Show, Beyond the Fence and Don’t Panic - How to End Poverty in 15 Years, all screened at AFO.
