Patricio Valladares

Patricio Valladares (b. 1982) is a Chilean exploitation filmmaker best known for Hidden in the Woods,an ultraviolent, low-budget rape-and-revenge splatter flick very loosely "inspired" by a real-life case of incestuous and domestic abuse which took place in rural southern Chile between 2005 and 2011. The film, which was distributed by Epic Pictures Group of Beverly Hills, stirred up controversy at several genre festivals, including Montreal's Fantasia, London's Film4 FrightFest and Belgium's Razor Reel, catching the attention of American actor Michael Biehn and his Blanc Biehn production company for made the Reboot Hidden in the Woods
Prior to this, Valladares had directed Curriculum,Dirty Love and Toro Loco, a no-budgetgrindhouse-style video trilogy which received limited distribution in Chile and Spain. In 2014, he established BYV Media with Evelyn Belmar. He has also worked asan illustrator and his comic "El Italiano #1 and #2" was published in Italy as a special edition with the support of Nicola Pesce Editore.
In 2014, he was working on Toro Loco Sangriento, an action and dark comedy flick.
