Shane is best known for his role as medic Eugene "Doc" Roe in "Band of Brothers", the HBO mini-series produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, which won six Emmy awards, a Golden Globe, an AFI award, a Peabody award and a WGA award. Following huge acclaim, Shane opted to break from acting to raise a family. "Bomber" marks his comeback. His previous film credits include Fernando in "Room for Rent" and Harry in "P.O.V.". Television work includes the role of Osman in "The Day of the Triffids" alongside Brian Cox, Vanessa Redgrave, Joely Richardson & Jason Priestly, "Dangerfield" for the BBC and "Where The Heart Is" for ITV. Theater performances include roles in Simon Cox's "Search & Destroy" and "True West" at the Rosemary Branch Theatre. Shane is a voice-over artist for ITV, Channel Five and Turner Classic Movies.
