He took his first steps in the movie world when he was just 7 years old, making stop-motion shorts with a SuperVHS camera. He began his professional career in advertising, specializing in the visual effects department. His short film Panic Attack! (09), made with a budget of just 300 dollars, was a spectacular demonstration of cinematic technique, that made him a big internet hit and opened the doors to Hollywood for him. There he won Sam Raimi’s confidence to do the virulent remake of Evil Dead (13).
