Britt Robertson

Rising star Brittany Robertson has gained widespread attention as Lux, the star of The CW’s hit drama “Life Unexpected”. Lux is a wise-beyond-her-years foster teen who decides to track down her birth parents in an effort to become an emancipated minor, but finds a new beginning instead. The critically acclaimed series has had a successful 2 season run, and may be picked up for a third.

Robertson has been cast as the lead of The CW’s new supernatural drama pilot “Secret Circle”. The pilot is based on a series of books by “Vampire Diaries” author L.J. Smith. “Vampire Diaries” series co-creator Kevin Williamson will write the script and serve as executive producer to the project.

Robertson’s film credits include the Disney Channel movie AVALON HIGH based on the book of the same name by Meg Cabot, author of the “The Princess Diaries” tomes, and THE FAMILY TREE where Britt shined alongside reputable cast. The film premiered at the Hamptons International Film Festival.

Other previous feature film credits include: DAN IN REAL LIFE, KEEPING UP WITH THE STEINS and MOTHER AND CHILD, directed by Rodrigo Garcia, starring Naomi Watts and Annette Bening. Independent film credits include FROM WITHIN and DRIVING LESSONS.

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Robertson splits her time between Greenville, South Carolina and Los Angeles, California. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, during the filming of “Life Unexpected.”
