Biografia

Lise Osvoll was educated as a graphic designer and art director at Granum Art School and Westerdals school of Communication, graduating Westerdals in 2004. She also worked as an assistant designer and animator for Qvisten Animation AS from 2003 to 2004, before moving to the production company Filmkameratene AS, working as a graphic designer (in motion graphics and poster design), most notably for the TV-series Elias: The Little Rescue Boat, but also on live action features like 37 and a Half and Izzat.

She both directed and animated the music video One Second in 2003, and the animated shorts The World Is a Little Cage and A Newborn Nightmare in 2002 and 2004, respectively. She advanced to co-director on the animated feature Elias and the Royal Yacht in 2007, before co-writing and directing the sequel Elias and the Treasure of the Sea in 2010, which won the Norwegian National Film Award Amanda for Best Childrens Film in 2011.
