Passionate about social impact documentaries and interested in experimenting with form, from his first shorts. This culminated in the recent success of the VCA Masters graduation film, The Holiday Inn-Side which premiered at Sheffield DocFest, won Best Short Doc at Ji.hlava IDFF, and earned both ADG and ATOM nominations. He also won the Australian International Documentary Conference ACCESS Award, which led to internships at Beach House and Ghost Pictures. Produced a fully animated doc about the pokies (funded by Screen Australia), and a feature doc about kids caught up in the juvenile justice system (supported by The Shark Island Institute).
