Biografia
Annette K. Olesen graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 1991. Her graduation film, 10:32 TIRSDAG – EN KÆRLIGHEDSHISTORIE (1991), won awards all over the world. Her international breakthrough came with MINOR MISHAPS, 2002, which won Der Blaue Engel at the International Film Festival in Berlin. In 2004 she directed IN YOUR HANDS, 2004 which was selected for the main competition at the Berlin International Film Festival. For her work on this film she received an honorary award at the São Paulo International Film Festival. Futhermore IN YOUR HANDS has won numerous awards at festivals worldwide, among these the Special Jury Prize at the Valladolid International Film Festival.
