Biografia
Ricardo Soto studied film direction at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (Mexico). As new director, he has been selected at Berlinale Talents (2014), Filmmakers Academy of Festival del Film Locarno (2013), Talent Demo by Camerimage (2015), MexiCannes 2015 (GIFF in cooperation with Cinéfondation Cannes) and IDFAcademy at IDFA (2018). He has been a two-time grant winner of FONCA and received the Artistic Residence 24/7 in Berlin by Nipkow Programm, Goethe Institut, GIFF and Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg.
