Soon-rye Yim

Yim Soonrye majored in English Language and Literature before completing a master’s degree in theater and film at Hanyang University. Having found her interest in cinema, she decided to study filmmaking at the University of Paris 8. Yim then found a new audience with Little Forest in 2018 and started working on her most ambitious project, The Point Men, in 2021. Yim is also the president of an animal rights association and the co-president of the Korean Center for Gender Equality in Film Deundeun since 2018.
