Biografia

Yasmine is a Palestinian French actress, video artist and dancer, who was born in Lebanon, lived in Paris, and received her Diploma National Superior from l'Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris. She got her first acting chance with the internationally successful Lebanese movie, Caramel, directed by Nadine Labaki, which put her on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. She followed this with four projects in two years, then a short French movie Manon sur le Bitume, with Elizabeth Marr, and a long feature in Algeria where she had to learn the language of the Touareg, a great experience in the desert of Algeria that gave birth to Ayrouwen directed by Ibrahim Tsaki.
