ZZ Satriani is a filmmaker based out of Los Angeles, CA. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Art History and Visual Arts from Occidental College in 2015, with a focus in film production and studio arts. He began his career initially pursuing production design in film. He has worked as an art director, set decorator, set dresser, and art assistant on works that include web content for Dollar Beard Club and Sara Schaefer; music videos and album art for Glass Animals, One OK Rock, Tim Darcy, K Flay, and Fickle Friends; and commercials for Lakmé, AMLAGLOW, and Waterpik. He currently works as a video editor and sound designer for Commonwealth Projects, as well as a filmmaker, with clients that include musical artist Banks, The Annenberg Space for Photography, and TROPICS Juice Bar. He has also worked with Ibanez Guitars to create a promotional video for his father, Joe Satriani, with whom he frequently collaborates.
