Nish Gera is a writer and filmmaker based in Belgium. Nish is writing a regular column for The Huffington Post on international LGBT rights and travel. Scar Tissue is his second screenplay and directorial debut, after having been involved in several productions of varying scale. Nish has been involved in a variety of social causes related to LGBT activism and was the founder of Photos for Hope, an organization aiming to raise funds and awareness for the cause of education of underprivileged children in India through the medium of photography. As part of this, he curated several photography exhibitions across the US.
