Robert Guédiguian

Born in 1953 in the neighbourhood of l’Estaque, Marseille, to an Armenian father and German mother. In the mid-70’s he moved to Paris to study Economics and Social Sciences. He debuted as a director in 1980 with Dernier été, in conjunction with Franck le Wita and whose story takes place in his old neighbourhood.
