María Alvarez

María Álvarez is a director and writer. She directed The Cinephiles (2017) and Le temps perdu (2020). Near and Dear is the final part of this documentary trilogy that connects time and art. She also wrote the play Quémese antes de leerse (2016), winner of Valladolid’s Second Fray Luis de León Prize.
