Jomí García Ascot

He was a poet, filmmaker, art critic, and essayist of Tunisian background who emigrated to Mexico in 1939 at age twelve. He studied philosophy at the UNAM and wrote for numerous magazines and film publications in Mexico. On the Empty Balcony was his first film.
