Biografia

Nearly 20 years of experience that began in the late nineties in television, theater, cinema, and TV series. Schmidt studied at CEFAC, The House of Theater, and The Meisner Technique at the William Esper Studio in New York. She debuted in the soap opera La vida en el espejo, and also participated in Cuando seas mía, and Amor en Custodia. In theater, she embodied Soto Transist in the play The House of the Spirits. She also participated in Hermanas, Grito al cielo con todo mi corazón, La tequilera, Consígueme una vida, and Baja la voz. On the small screen, she has been in the shows Cappadocia, and Paramedics. Her film career includes films such as The Sea of Dreams, Corazón marchito, Road to Fame, Regresa, Tequila, historia de una pasión, Little Baby Jesus, Falling for Mala, El club de los idealistas, Sobreviviente, La pantera negra, Guía para el viajero que no quiere preguntar, Beyond the Mountain, and Eight Out of Ten. In the latter she was a producer, winning the Mezcal Prize as Best Actress at the FICG. As for international films, she was present in Meister Des Todes, Chorus, and in the short film Mountain, by Martin de Thurah. On her comeback to the small screen, she personifies Gema Vidal, one of the villains in The Usurper. It is with this remake that Televisa launches its Dream Factory Project.
