Juan Palacios (Eibar, 1986) works with experimental video, visual diary film essays, and observational documentary. His films explore the boundaries between nature and human culture, as well as the process of filmmaking. His first short film, Chelonia memoriae, made in collaboration with his art collective, Ultramar Collective, was selected for Madrid's Museo Reina Sofia's video collection. His two films, Tibetan Spider and Corte Profundo were both winners of the CTL film festival in Navarre, Spain, in 2014 and 2015 respectively. Pedaló is his first feature.
