Biografia
Originally from Limoges, French filmmaker Denis Imbert started out in the world of theatre as a member of La Compagnie du Désordre, created by Filip Forgeau, before turning to film, he says, because he was too introverted. With a long career as assistant director for filmmakers such as Michael Haneke (Code Unknown), Jean Becker (Conversations with My Gardener, My Afternoons with Margueritte) and Gérard Krawczyk (Taxi 3, Fanfan la Tulipe). Imbert is responsible for the Platane series (2011-2013) and has directed two feature films, Vicky (2015) and Mystère (2021).
