Biografia
Eugenio Cappuccio (b. 1961, Latina) studied screenwriting at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, where he received his diploma in 1985. He worked as an assistant to Federico Fellini on the film Ginger and Fred and collaborated with him on other projects as well. In 1990, at Fellini's request, he began working on the documentary Toward the Moon with Fellini. He also made music videos and documentary films, and debuted as a feature film director with Il caricatore (1997), on which Massimo Gaudioso and Fabio Nunziata also participated. The film won a number of awards and the three of them met up again to make La vita è una sola (1998). He then directed and produced the digital film Come mosche (2003) which was followed by I Truly Respect You (Volevo solo dormirle addosso, 2004), presented at Karlovy Vary IFF in 2005.
