Biografia

Jenny Hinkey is an independent filmmaker with a strong background in physical production and a penchant for original, challenging stories.
She began her career as an assistant director, working her way up the ranks to unit production manager, line producer, and now producer. Among the feature films that she has produced are Derek Magyar's Flying Lessons, starring Maggie Grace, Hal Holbrook, and Christine Lahti, which opened the Santa Barbara International Film Festival; and David Moreton's A Good Funeral, in post-production, starring Gary Cole, Jennifer Coolidge, and Agnes Bruckner. She was in production on Karen Moncrieff's The Trials of Cate McCall, starring Kate Beckinsale and Nick Nolte.
Ms. Hinkey was line producer on Van Fischer's Neo Ned, starring Jeremy Renner and Gabrielle Union; and worked on Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore's Miss March as well as Rick Famuyiwa's Our Family Wedding, starring Forest Whitaker and America Ferrera. In addition to her feature credits, she was one of the producers on the groundbreaking digital series, Aim High, starring Jackson Rathbone and Aimee Teegarden, which has garnered numerous awards in the digital space.
She was unit production manager on the sleeper hit 500 Days of Summer, directed by Marc Webb.
