Gan Bi

Bi Gan is a screenwriter and director. With his short film, in 2013, Diamond Sutra he received a special mention in the Asian New Force category of the Incubator for Film and Visual Media in Asia (IFVA). Lu bian ye can (Kaili Blues, 2015), his feature debut, won the Best New Director  Award at Locarno, amongst other accolades. The second, Di qiu zui hou de ye wan (Long Day’s Journey into Night, 2018), premiered in Un Certain Regard at the Festival de Cannes and participated in Zabaltegi-Tabakalera at San Sebastian. Po sui tai yang zhi xin (A Short Story, 2022) competed in the official short film selection at the Festival de Cannes.
