Ruba Blal

Ruba was born in Nazareth in the Galilee. Her first movie role was in the film Atash, aka Thirst, directed by Tawfik Abu Wael. The film won the Wolgin award at the Jerusalem Film Festival and won the Fipresci award at the Cannes Film Festival. She participated in several Israeli films, among them Forgiveness directed by Udi Aloni and The Bubble directed by Eytan Fox which won many prizes in different film Festivals in Europe.
