Biografia

Eréndira Ibarra is a Mexican-American actress, producer and casting director who began her career in 2006. In 2008 she played the character of Sofia in Capadocia, HBO's first premium series in Mexico, winner of international Emmys. That same year she participated in Issa Lopez's comedy Casi Divas. Eréndira has also played prominent roles in several series and soap operas, including Las Aparicio, Camelia la Texana and Infames. In 2015 she gained recognition for her starring role as Daniela Velázquez in the Netflix series Sense8, created by the Wachowski sisters, and continued to appear in other Netflix series, such as Ingobernable. Eréndira also starred in the Spanish-language dramahistory television series Sitiados, produced by Fox Network Group Latin America and Dynamo, alongside Poncho Herrera, with whom she also worked in El Diez and Sense8. In 2020, after co-starring in El Candidato at Amazon Studios, she was invited by Lana Wachowski to join the cast of Matrix: Resurrections. She has also worked on theatrical and film productions, such as the film Enfermo Amor. Eréndira is also co-founder of Anónima Media.
