Manuel Abramovich studied to become a Director of Photography at the ENERC in Buenos Aires and was a student of the Berlinale Talents (2012) and the IDFA Summer School (2012). His short film La reina (2013) screened at more than 150 festivals worldwide and received 50 awards. His first feature film, Solar (2016), participated in the Zabaltegi Tabakalera section of the San Sebastian Festival. His project El oasis was selected in 2018 for the Ikusmira Berriak programme. Blue Boy received the Silver Shell for Best Short Film at the Berlin Festival and the Best Argentine Short Documentary Film at the BAFICI.
