Eulàlia Ramon

When she was still a teenager, he entered the Institut del Teatre and started to work as a model in advertising, performances and as an extra in film shootings. In 1984 she made her debut in Gonzalo Herralde’s Últimas tardes con Teresa and soon after she worked with Vicente Aranda in Fanny Pelopaja. After moving to Madrid, in 1986 she was cast with Antonio Resines and Verónica Forqué in Caín, Manuel Iborra’s first significant work. Gradually her face became known with several works for television. In 1988 she played her first main role in Roberto Bodegas’ Matar al Nani. She continued working for television but without leaving cinema, and she finished the eighties with El mar y el tiempo, directed by Fernando Fernán Gómez. In the nineties, her career took a huge step forward with more complex roles, starting with Montxo Armendáriz’s Las cartas de Alou, which was a turning point for her career as an actress. Soon after she took place in one of the most important films of that period, Imanol Uribe’s El rey pasmado. By that time she also worked at the stage, with very important plays such as La verdad sospechosa, by Juan Ruiz de Alarcón, directed by Pilar Miró, with whom she also worked in El pájaro de la felicidad. Subsequently she worked with Carlos Saura in Dispara!, which marked the beginning of a great friendship and a long common cinematographic life for the actress and the Aragonese director. In 1997 she played one of her favourite roles: that of Margarita in Pajarico by Carlos Saura. Also with the same director she worked in Goya en Burdeos, starring Paco Rabal. Since 2001 she combines more and more her work as an actress and her passion for photography.
