Lex Barker isn't a bad portrayal of Tarzan, although I feel he looks a bit too intelligent; in this aspect, Johnny Weissmuller was better. However, on the other hand, the films with Lex haven't really convinced me yet that they are truly good. Rather average to below average, as is the case here.

I was kind of waiting for something more, for the film to really captivate me. But in the end, it turned out to be just an average biographical movie, which is also somewhat masked because the name of Paul Gauguin isn't actually mentioned here. At least nothing had to be authorized... Changing the color filter didn't help much.

It's like a pseudo-reportage on how young people are actually coping with their sexuality. For a series with thirteen episodes, you'd think the first one would be interesting. As it turns out, this is not the case and it’s quite boring and stands out only for the young beautiful girls that abound.

Herschell Gordon Lewis made trash movies, which is why he also became so well-known, albeit in a relatively limited community. However, this director has some really weak pieces, and How to Make a Doll is one of the weakest for me. It's simply quite boring, where not much happens, and where it just isn't enough that a few fairly attractive girls in bikinis appear. That's really not much at all.

Bigfoot could have been an entertaining movie if it were shot properly and not like a small sideshow. If there were digital effects here that were actually good, and not what we're watching, where even individual scenes don't connect with each other. It is all too apparent that there was an attempt to take the cheapest route. And that's why it looks so bad in the end. Not to mention that you simply can't get a horror experience out of this.

A fantastic farewell to the character, and I truly hope that nobody else will ever play him. Hugh Jackman is great, Patrick Stewart is great, but Dafne Keen is also breathtaking. An awesome clash of three generations that doesn't even mind not having a truly memorable villain.

True, it could be argued that the film is quite patriotic; on the other hand, it must be acknowledged that once again, a very good film has been made, most of which takes place on board a submarine. Regardless of the soldiers' intentions, they managed to portray quite strong characters, and the film succeeded without any musical numbers.

Barrio Tales is an attempt to show that it's possible to make good horror films even with Mexicans. I might believe that, but Barrio Tales is certainly not proof of that. In terms of plot, it's very straightforward, and at times, you can see that it's quite amateurish; unfortunately, the screenwriter's narrative talent didn't shine through either. Tolerable yes, but I really don't know why a sequel was made.

One of the weakest Tarzan films I've ever seen. While Lex Barker is fine, I don't consider it a genius idea to base the plot on the arrival of another woman in Tarzan's jungle who only brings trouble. And even the slavery aspect, into which the woman and Jane are dragged, doesn't quite work here. It was pretty boring.

A film conceived as an Italian giallo, which succeeded by relying on more nudity. It feels somewhat gratuitous here, just sort of fitting into the overall narrative. Lina Romay is a safe bet and it must be said that her short hair gives her something different, something new. The story is simple but works. Quite a pleasant surprise.
