englanti Pavel Kohout's second filmed play after September Nights. While the play "September Nights" was performed in only one production, "That Kind of Love" from the Zdeněk Nejedlý Realistic Theater spread throughout the Czech Republic in the second half of the 1950s and was still being performed by students at the Disk Theater in the mid-1960s. A steamy drama from a college environment, it plays out with clarity a situation in which an individual’s preferences have no place. Formally, it is an interesting contribution to the broader tradition of adaptations of plays in Czechoslovak film, and it is also one of the most interesting post-war pieces. ()
