Marci is drafted from a typical block building in the 6th district in Pest. He says good-bye to Juli living in the same house, with whom they are both very much fond of each other, but neither of them makes a confession. Juli works in a factory, and with her friend Gizus she goes out in the evening for dancing and drinking. After a year, Marci comes back for holiday, he is full of love. Juli is happy to see her, especially after it turns out: Marci really loves her. Marci learns what kind of life Juli conducted without him, and decides to break up. Juli realises what she will lose and wants to commit suicide. Yet her life instinct leads her to the railway station instead. Marci cries out the address of his platoon from the starting train signaling that he accepts the love of Juli who took a decision to turn for the good. (jakelijan virallinen teksti)

englanti At the beginnings of the Hungarian auteur film wave was a married couple who understood the desires and the mood of the free-spirited young generation perhaps better than all of the filmmakers at the time together. Judith Máriássy wrote a charming and witty script from everyday life, which Félix Máriássy was able to adapt with great insight into film with some situations that seem to be representative of today's "spoiled" youth. The actors are brilliantly cast, the ending is perhaps unnecessarily sentimental, but nonetheless fresh and energetic. ()
