One Room - Season 1

It seems to me that this short anime series was made because there was not enough money to produce a game because watching it is about the same as playing a visual novel (hereafter referred to as VN). The show is presented as a first-person narrative; it is viewed from the male protagonist’s perspective and through his eyes, there is focus on different places (guess which ones). There are also dialogues from the game and narration in the form of game instances where there are random encounters with the object of his interest. Even the beginning is like a game. Oh, and according to the content on AniChart, there are going to be three different narratives with three other female protagonists that take place in the same room. I wonder what will happen in that one room with the female protagonists, although at the same time, I am answering that question myself in that I could not care less. If I wanted that narrative style, I would get a VN and decide for myself what the main protagonist should do there. Plus, they want to cram three narratives with three girls into four minutes per episode and an estimated twelve episodes? That is going to be very rushed and probably unnatural (I kind of want to see a girl who has seen me three times and already wants to study with me.). But enough already, the animation is quite nice, and the girls look cute, so I am going to keep my other negative opinions and speculations to myself and, fearing it to be another generic ecchi anime series, I would rather leave this battlefield until I think it is really just a pointless anime series.
