Oh well. My fears were realized, and the finale left me quite disappointed. While the screenwriter deftly toyed with the story and the audience in other episodes, the conclusion turned out to be a bizarre and hardly believable hybrid between a thriller and pretentious nonsense. It's a shame the ending didn't live up to the rest of the series; it certainly deserved better.
