englanti Peter Schulhoff's latest crime drama lost the eye-pleasing black-and-white widescreen image that the previous ones boasted, but otherwise everything essential remained. Interesting story, precisely economical performance of Rudolf Hrušínský, music by Ivan Blatný, a dense atmosphere. My only reservation is with the performance of Linhart's wife Drahomíra Hofmanová, who did not make a great impression on me. ()

englanti "Diagnosis of Death" is not a bad film, it's just a bit too obvious that someone tried to create an American-style plot, which didn't quite work out. However, the film certainly doesn't come across as funny and manages to keep the viewer engaged. And for someone, the final revelation may be a surprise, just like it is for Kalaš. Compared to the film "The Killer Hides His Face," it seems to me that "Diagnosis of Death" is not as well-developed in terms of screenplay and that Kalaš doesn't have such a strong shot at the goal. It is then just a rather ordinary investigation, which is made interesting by the hospital setting and the plot involving a kidney.
