Skin and Bones

I’m afraid your daughter is anorexic! The diagnosis is a shock for Susanne (Anja Kling) and Peter (Oliver Mommsen), the parents of 16-year old Lara, who tries everything to keep her condition secret. An exhausting battle against the illness begins for her family, one that comes to dominate daily life. Lara‘s self-destructive streak make Susanne and Peter increasingly desperate, but they don’t give up and support their daughter with self-sacrifice and devotion. (Filmfest Hamburg)
