The Dressel Family

The Dressel family owns a successful hardware store in the city. The business is run by Frau Dressel, a severe widow, who has two sons, Federico and Rodolfo. Federico falls in love with singer Magdalena and marries her against his mother’s will - she wanted her son to marry a German girl. The young couple must deal with Frau Dressel’s constant harassment and with an accusation of adultery. (Morelia International Film Festival)
