Ray Bennet (Robert Patrick) is a down and out video store clerk who is barely making ends meet in the barren desert of the Southwest. On a journey to just "get away" from his problems, he happens upon a hitchhiker, Harley (Jennifer Esposito). The chemistry between the two is immediate, and eventually Harley offers Ray the opportunity of a lifetime--help her smuggle $2 million of stolen money out of a local bank and she'll split it 50/50.
