An excellent story, which shows how important it is in detective work for a person, that is the detective, to identify all the clues and notice everything. Hercule demonstrates this with great attention to detail, and he remains skillful and witty. It's really difficult to imagine Poirot with anyone other than David Suchet, who gave him charm and magic.
