The short story "The Plymouth Express" (1923) in serial form isn't great, especially when knowing about the film version of the novel "The Mystery of the Blue Train" (1928). The subject matter may be very similar, but the 1991 episode of the show and the 2005 movie are completely different.

I wasn't really hooked on this episode, even though I'm glad Hastings is back, although he didn't disappear for long. The plot is quite interesting, but personally, I don't really like the twist, or rather the revelation, of how she was seen somewhere despite being dead. This is too much of a cliché for me.
