If this had fallen in the hands of someone more skilled, it could’ve been an unforgettable trip. But even in this version, I had more fun that I’d expected. Raping a legendary American kids TV show with a bloody slasher movie, ain’t it cute? I want the Czech Jů a Hele version. (05.09.2019)

In the tradition of Westworld and other similar movies in that genre, where animatronics operating an amusement park goes haywire and begins to kill its visitors, it is a completely average contribution. The trailer is solid enough to attract people, but this movie is in reality just amateurishly written low-budget nonsense, with such tiresome black and white characters that it is annoying at times. What is most striking, however, is the fact that if we omit the crazy topic of murderous furries, it is not really a comedy at all. There is no humor in the screenplay, which was probably the thing about the movie which disappointed me the most. This movie is a half-witted morsel that desperately lacks any significant light-heartedness. (27.08.2019)

The American movie The Banana Splits Movie beautifully subverts a fraction of American culture, puts it in a new context, and works beautifully. The Banana Splits Movie is a gory movie that is also brilliantly executed. It is funny. It is cynical and really good. Plot-wise, it is nothing new, just a story about revenge on a few characters, although the archetypes of characters used are great. (20.09.2019)
