Sonata for a Red-Haired Girl

Fifteen-year Petra has red hair and freckles in addition to many interests and hobbies. She'd rather play with boys than girls and is the goalie on the boys' soccer team. She's also getting good at playing the piano. It's hard to decide whether to practicing the piano or play on the field. What's more, she falls in love with the new classmate Pavel. Petra is preparing for her first concert. But the boys persuade her to help them play an important soccer match, saying they'll get her to the concert on time. But it all ends differently – Petra is in hospital with a broken leg. Petra must finally decide whether to pursue the piano or soccer. (Zlín Film Festival)
