Big Little Lies - Série 2

Meryl Streep joined in Season 2, with her character serving as a mirror of past events, and the top judge confirmed that we were watching classic David E. Kelley work. Kelley really is addicted to the judiciary. Remember The Practice, Ally McBeal, or the Boston Legal? However, Kelley also made Wonder Woman in 2011 a judge... But it wasn't that bad. The tension could be cut, and the sympathy for the main characters was strengthened even more. I just really don't think a possible 3rd season would bring us anything new. (28.07.2019)

I’ve said before that I had serious concerns about the second season, and even though a few of the episodes had some obvious flaws, the result was a pleasant surprise. Two new characters appeared in the story: while Elizabeth Howard only served to stretch out the story, Mary Louise Wright portrayed by Meryl Streep was a great addition to it. An incredibly annoying woman with lips clenched like the rectum of a heterosexual at a gay bar. An excellent character. I can tell by the fact that I occasionally thought about how happy I would be if she had some sort of a fatal accident. The second season was a bit weaker than the first one, but deserves four stars for its excellent atmosphere. (18.11.2019)
