Oleg and Vasya are old school friends who lose touch for many years until they meet unexpectedly one day. While Oleg has a successful career, he has become disenchanted with his 15-year marriage and after meeting Olenka, he thinks seriously about leaving his wife and starting a new life. Vasya is also disillusioned. Once a talented painter, he was unable to make a living from his work and so was forced to become a builder. By coincidence, the house that Vasya is currently building is owned by Oleg and that is how the old friends meet. Oleg persuades Vasya to build another cottage in the same village, which he plans to give to his mistress, however, as events progress, Oleg begins to see his 'old' wife with new eyes and realizes how much he loves Galya. In the end, Vasya and Olenka fall in love and the generous Oleg presents them with a new house. (Star Media)
